This painting is inspired by a photograph taken while swimming out past the break between Del Mar and Torrey Pines in Southern California. I prefer the perspective of the swimmer rather than the land dweller when doing seascapes, with the hope of transporting the viewing into the water. I love the ocean and being in any body of water.
